I really admire the Toyota Team. Unfortunately, I prefer Porsche.

I simply can't feel sorry for Toyota. Why? Because they don't help themselves. They don't lose because of a tyre blowout, a stupid FCY, a stupid mistake by other driver, etc. They lose because of their own reliability problems or own drivers mistakes.

I don't know why, but that Weathertech livery really suits the 488

Some people really don't enjoy the race, it seems like the only enjoyment is either team X lost and gloating, or my team won and gloating. Does anyone else actually not give's a rat's posterior who wins but enjoys the race and actually enjoys life not the gloating?

2017 Le Mans 24 Hours Race Thread
Had anyone been in that 51 Ferrari other than Pier Guidi? There's no way he is still in that car.

I agree, Ederss7. At the same time, the fact is Toyota didn't try to make a show out of this race (as Peugeot did in 2010, just to be beaten by Audi 1-2-3). Toyota deserves my respect. The simple fact is Porsche may win again. And that is quite something.

At this rate, Lotterer's race lap record will stand. Unless either Porsche or the #8 Toyota have some cards they haven't shown, not only will Andre probably get his 4th LM win, but his lap record will stand, and probably for a while.

I love the pattern of the Ferraris or Porsches coming back at the Astons at the end of their stints only for the Astons to swat them away like flies every time

The #21 looks like a mechanical failure of some sort and I didn't see a tire down based on the replays.

If Aston Martin wins Le Mans this year, then I think it would be proper for them to enter a proper GTLM entry at the 36 hours of Florida in 2018. Petit this year would be nice too. Lets see what they got on our turf.

I do note that both Aston Martin Racing and AF Corse ran cars in GTD at Daytona this past January.

Is the boost turned down or something? I bet the Porsche is being passed left and right on the straights by LMP2 cars.
