Wow! Thats pretty condemning of the AMR program (or lack of). Wonder how much support Oreca will be able to provide with everything else they will have on their plate in 08? Larbre seems to be poised to strike while the iron is hot (so to speak), maybe. I think it might all go back to how much support will come from Oreca.

It is such beautiful news *cries a small tear of happiness*
Larbre LMS champions in 08? Don't bet against it. |

I wonder where this leaves Aston Martin.

Nice to see someone running the Saleen's next year, it had looked for a while like we might not see any on the International scene. Interesting too that crash.net also reports that Labre are working on a entry for next year's Spa 24 hours too.

To race the Saleen alone in 2008 was maybe too much on Oreca's plate . But to provide support for cash , is another question altogether . |

Larbre are more than capable of being competitive with the Saleens without the kind of "support" being referred to here. Larbre have run Oreca-prepped GT1 cars in the past with great success, and I think its more than obvious that the Saleen is the best platform available for ACO GT1 racing (Doug Fehan will be the first to tell you that by the way).
Prodrive and Pratt & Miller have both stated that racing their outright factory teams in the LMS is not in their best interest, as it would deter their customers from competing. With Larbre now gone from the AM fold, I wonder who will fill the void in the LMS. Maybe Modena will move to two cars? |

I don't see Creation being able to build yet another car, so I'd rule them out. Zytek and Lola on the other hand could easily work.
Maybe even a B08/60? |

We should let the team some time to sort it out. It is yet not clear whether they buy a new car or a one year old. |

I was just thinking that the ex-Horag Lista Lola would be a well sorted and reliable car for them to get their hands on , and they know the engine too .

The mention of a "one year old" car makes me think it might be the ex-Fernandez chassis. Are there any other recent ones floating around - or is there the prospect for taking the Swiss Spirit or potentially Charouz car and LMP2ifying it?
