Does Stanaway getting the drive at Grove come with a pair of T8 Camaro’s too?

Grove Racing could be a team on the rise. It was really good to see the reaction in the pit when Reynolds rolled over in race two. Looking like a team who are wanting to compete at the front, not just settling for the sponsorship cheque, just so they can be there being average. With some of the other drivers hanging around too long taking up seat space, because they can bring a dollar. You just wonder how hungry Team 18 really are? Is just being there racing the goal?

Yeah I saw that but it was if things don't improve in the ford camp, just going on the results at The Bend things may have improved, let's wait and see what the rest of the season brings.

Speedcafe reporting that David Reynolds will be at T18 for next season.
No doubt on a 10 year contract like he was at Erebus. |

Two drivers at the end of their careers, but can bring money. So a team not really turning up to win, but just to be there. We will still get the talk, we are slowly chipping away... We think we are really starting to build something here... and so on. A field filler team. No building for the future to see here.

Not sure what Charlie sees in David Reynolds, unless he's got significant dowry. The guy is too hot and cold.
He's let two decent young guys in James Golding and Tyler Everingham slip through. Next year, he'll have the oldest driver pairing on the grid, since Johnson and Bowe. |

Looks like the Courtney Caravan is off to Blanchard Racing Team, where does that leave Mr Hazelwood?
Perhaps Charlie is hoping for Viagra to come on board at T18 for next season, and give the team a rise up the grid? |

And now the series is back to 24 cars...
They will all fit in that nice aeroplane that doesnt have anywhere to fly to. Wonder where the numbers will end up? Presuming Tickford will use #5 and #55... #6 and #7 may not have a home... in the old days, the lower numbers implied a good championship position (true or not) which may have had some commercial benefit |

The easiest way to be able to afford to go racing, hire a driver who brings the money. No need to build a strong winning team, that's hard work and most can't do it. After twenty years you are still learning, and are close to a stepping up to winning races. Twenty years on the brink.

Pye to 888 on a 2 year deal with get out clause for 2025 if a full time drive comes to fruition.

Can’t see David Wall or Alex Davison working together next year after yesterday’s Porsche race!
