Martin and Talbot? That'd be a good lineup. Be interesting to see what the cars livery looks like.

Steven Richards Motorsport has taken delivery of its first BMW M6 GT3 ahead of the manufacturer’s entry into the Australian GT Championship this year.
Richards and BMW plan on running two cars under the SRM Team BMW banner at selected AGTC events, starting with Albert Park in mid-March. The V8-powered M6 is a new homologation for the booming GT3 class in 2016, replacing the company’s ageing Z4. “It’s a pretty impressive piece of gear… I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited,” said Richards of the car’s arrival at his Dandenong workshop. “I’ve had a few new race cars in my time, but this one takes the cake. I just can’t wait to drive it.” Richards’ team is gearing up to run multiple customer cars in the category alongside its existing Carrera Cup program. “We’ve got all the technical backup and all the assistance from BMW in Germany to help us out, it’s just about getting familiar (with the car),” said Richards. “In terms of driving the car, that’s not going to be an issue. We’ll be able to get on the pace as soon as possible.” The four-time Bathurst 1000 winner added that next February’s Bathurst 12 Hour is already on his mind. “BMW would like to see three or four of these cars running in Australia,” he explained. “They see it as a great way to platform other marketing activities that they’ve got planned over the course of the next 12 months and two years. “There’s no doubt at the end of that a focus on the 12 Hour. That’s where we want to be in 2017 with a car that’s capable of winning the race.” |

28 cars at Clipsal.
By my math, that is more than 26? http://www.speedcafe.com/2016/02/18/...sal-500-entry/ |

26 GT3 cars and 2 invitational cars. Down on total numbers for the same event last year, but an increase of 7 GT3 cars, and more to come. Quite a good field considering the series is now split over Endurance, Sprint and Trophy series.
Going to be a great year for the series. |

You can upgrade a fl2 to a Rex. Around 35000 euro I think at a guess? New rear quarter panels, longer driveshafts, and new engine parts.
My original chassis was a 2011 build so I felt it was time to move it on, plus a new car for Spa last year made the most sense. Here's the blown engine video. They've improved things since then dramatically. http://youtu.be/ZKq_ILCem6s I'd like to think Taplan and Shahin bought a Rex due to some good results I've achieved over the years running with Dave Russell and Steve Owen. Plus they're at least 100,000 euro cheaper than any other gt3. Maybe it was more the dollars. |

Is Beechwood Antunes sponsor or Rod Salmons sponsor?
Also weird is SLRs Merc branding all over their FB page. |

Speedcafe just announced Grant Denyer will switch to one of the THREE Tekno cars, also confirms Antunes in a car... Car 1- Grant Denyer & Jono Webb Car 2- Elliot Barbour & Nathan Antunes Car 3- Nathan Morcom & ???? The article also suggests a 'third car' is to be leased to the Quinn duo, even though it says Morcom is running in the third car. Due to the Denyer move, the #88 Maranello Car is an uncertainty Not sure if this is previously announced but the new Maranello 488 is to be for Edwards and Bowe http://www.speedcafe.com/2016/02/21/...ren-gt-switch/ |
