Firstly, Micahel's pitstop was somethign we wanted to see, espeically as everyone was pitting at that point, and it proved to be the crucial moment when he won the race.
In the past, cameras have tended to look for other icnidents to show, to prevent particualrly morbid images being shown in full detail. When anythign of not ehappened, we saw it at the corner. |

What really annoys me is that the FIA just won't admit somethings could have been handled better. Surely they knew people would talk about their faults on the day, so why don't they swallow their pride and admit to it?

I'm sure there will be plenty internal discussions about it and things will be improved - but a public witch hunt serves no good.

BOTS - You are correct. I've worked as a spotter for camera crews over here and some race production companies have a policy that they will not show fatalities on screen. Therefore, in a horrific accident on a live showing, they automatically cut to other scenes until they know more about the driver's condition. Very responsible of them I think.

9 pages of they should do this, they should do that.
Well now my 2 cents worth. The F1 & Indy personel would've noticed the delay and will no doubt be working to ensure the problem doesn't occur again. Something went wrong! Whether it was a procedural or communication breakdown we may never know but I think they will be looking into it to ensure it doesn't occur again. |

I think we are getting close to the end with this one, unless there is anything new to add.
