You know what surprising, the quotes in that article are lifted directly from TCR TVs own Youtube interview with him. The guy clearly hasn't learnt his lesson if hes talking to the series own media team like this.

At first sight, I thought that Urrutia should have been penalized at all. Both cars barely touche each other, it was far from a hard bang.
Then I thought: "what, what would I think if it was me who got spinned out?" Yeah, I would surely complain to the stewards. Urrutia said that "apparently, the rules are not the same for every weekend". I can't disagree with him. There's plenty of hard bangs that go unpunished, and some light taps that get a drive-through. |

I got my paddock tickets for El Pinar. Not sure if I'll have visibility on a corner, though.

The Sunday race 1 starts at 9 am local... that's criminal.
General admission tickets right now are at US$ 35, grandsstand tickets are at US$ 45-65, and paddock tickets are at US$ 180 (I got them early at 90). That's steep, but certainly cheaper than travelling to Europe or United States. |

Interesting that the #86 Toyota seemed to have been driven by a hybrid of Estebans Guerrieri & Gutierrez. I wonder how they managed that?
Paul Jeffrey is horrendous. Get rid. |

Great to see so many passionate people in Uruguay, TCR World Tour definitely needs those kind of events.
The lack of TV graphics sucks though, it was impossible to check where do TCR South America guys run. I don't know whose responsibility is this, WSC, TCR South America or local organisers but that is not worthy of a world series and hopefully will be improved for Argentina. Miss Martin Haven Although Paul Jeffrey has improved significantly and hopefully continues to do it (expected much worse, just check his first commentary at Portimao last year) |

It was freezing indeed.
Here's my photos and videos. Mind that it will take me several weeks to upload them all. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/C...yo_at_El_Pinar |

Hopefully we will see te Toyota next season in Europe. Car has speed and reliability. About Paul Jeffrey. I prefer Martin Haven but have the impression Jeffrey has become better. But often the sound is on mute and listen to music. |

There was some good racing when it was green. A really wide track enables drivers to take lots of different lines to attempt to overtake, just a shame half the race was behind the safety car. Can't believe they went green when Girolami's car was being towed across the track though!
Huff must be absolutely kicking himself for chucking that win away. |

Looks to me like Huff didn't spot a puddle on the last lap at turn 8, which meant he went wide and lost the lead. Tricky conditions for all. Great racing, but a shame that 50% of the race behind the safety car ruined it. And not because of drivers crashing into the wall - perhaps the marshalling / recovery needs to be improved in Villa Mercedes...

Cracking Race 1, wide track really allows for close racing.
Perhaps they could use last year's WTCR solution in the future, when a few minutes were added to the timed race in case of the safety car. |

Awful TV directing in Race 2, with the TV crew focusing on showing Girolami circling around instead of showing any action

Bring back Mark James. Didn't pretend to know the technical nuances of the cars, but he knew who was who, and their backstory. Well-respected in the paddock. Was also great when the likes of Stefano Comini and Pepe Oriola joined him.

I haven't found any video of Urrutia bumping Azcona to the wall.

Will Paul Jeffrey join the TCR Australia commentators for the next two rounds or will they have seperate feeds (or will TCR TV just take the Aussie commentary?)
