Nick rang this morning to let me know there are now approx 10-15 spaqces extra at Oulton Park. They will be allocated on a first come first served basis so e-mail as soon as possible if you want to take part.

Extra place available

Unfortunately due to work commitments I am really *@#~{}?!* because I will not be able to attend OP on Friday 1st.
I have a booked place. I see that places are still available but if places run out, I will be happy for my place to be re-allocated to someone who wants to go. (Not sure how but no doubt there is a way).
So have fun while I'm stuck in the office
Such is life.

Phil, you need to let Nick Rice know as he will remove your name from the list thereby releasing a space for someone else.

If you had the confirmation you will be on the list, mail nick.rice@motorsportvision.co.uk to check.

My question is regarding final instructions/times etc. Anyone know the sign on time and pit lane open time for Oulton?

Just what I was about to ask. Originally, I asked Nick (by email) if I was in on the day because I've had an email from MSV confirming my "order". He said if I'd had that, I was in.
But like many others we've had no more correspondence as to what to do. So, the info above is of great help, thanks.
Maybe something will land on Monday, but any more info about Oulton, in my case, would be greatly received.

I had no confirmation via email or any other means. I assumed therefore that i wasn't allocated a place, hence i'm sat on the sofa watching telly rather than being at Cadwell park.
I realise and appreciate that they're free days, but it's rather poor form this.

I agree, whilst we've got this for free and I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity; the administration has been haphazard at best. We shouldn't be relying on an internet forum for this information, Nick or someone at MSV needs to ensure that we are informed about what's going on 'Officially'.

The sign on info is great LS, thanks but we still don't have the info pack or the indemnity form, this should have been sorted by the office a long time before now

but as these days are a good will gesture on the part of Jonathon Palmer and his team, why when we are getting it all for free should MSV go to the expense of posting out info packs? as marshals we should have enough knowledge of race track etiquete(sp?) not to need. As far as I can see it has been 1 person sorting these days days for 4 circuits. Would it not make sense for us to ring and check times? I went to Cadwell today and through the swedish barge about for a few laps had a few fast laps (thanks Colin) and had a great day even though there was a delay for armco replacement courtesy of a porsche.
THANK YOU J.P AND STAFF for providing a great experience for us.
I look forward to next year and we can do it all again (please Mr. Palmer)

Imdenmnity forms are at sign on

You cant help everyone it seems.Im sure one phone call to Nick would have been all that was needed.
Damn good day out and thanks for the coffee Steph and Dean.
Couldnt help but feel sorry for the guy who took 5 armco posts out with his newly aquired Porsche until someone said it wasnt even insured for the road.Ouch !!!
Thanks for giving me the chance to thank some of you guys today and thanks Mr Palmer and the MSVR staff for putting it on.

What time did they re-open the circuit?

We decided to call it a day, the porsche was a sobering sight and we figured it could be most of the day before it opened again. (not to mention one red always seems to follow another at cadwell).
