Hi guys, how's everyone enjoying it? Just put up some pics at the usual address (www.flickr.com/jymp) but i'm withholding most for now i'm afraid.

11 oclock, bottom of the startline bridge, at the coffee stand, tomorrow. Guy in a silly hat is me!

Be there DJ.

Enjoy the race everyone.
If its not on the ALMS weekend next year, I plan to be at an FIA GT event next year. Maybe Silverstone, maybe Monza.

The Moslers are going to be a comedy double act in the race by the looks of things - one of them went out three times in qualifying and spun every time. Gorgeous looking cars and well turned out, but if either of them finishes today I'd be amazed.

Scariest moment of the day - one of the Jetalliance cars spinning out of the last corner RIGHT into the path of his team-mate... disaster narrowly averted.

Ford GT wins the first GT3 race - get in! The gentleman class Ferrari Tropheo race was hilarious - the start was the most spread out I've ever seen and for a couple of cars to be almost lapped by the safety car is just incredible!

Off to the track, supporting the GT3 Fords, Scuderia Ecosse and that Slovakian Saleen today. Hope it warms up a bit - it's just been horrible the last couple of days!

Forecast is cloudy, but dry.

Spent the last couple of hours deciding whether or not to go, but I think I'll settle for ITV4 from the comfort of my armchair this year.

At the moment it is dry, the track is damp and it's very grey due to the fog.

Fog ..... thats a real frig up if that happens !!!

Remember a couple of years back when the LMP1 Caddy's had an infra-red camera in the nose of the lead car ..... would come in very handy if fog prevails .

Fog is getting thicker.

During the Ferrari Challenge the view on the tv-screens consisted of headlights in the clouds

The link from the FIA GT homepage (http://www.mstworld.com/) is currently claiming to be covering the support race, which is why I'm thinking it might not all be well.

If there's another source be delighted to hear about it!

Bernard Bram has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Looks like Porsche needs another 100kg weight reduction to get even close to the Ferraris.
