Oh I am enjoying it. And would be happy for it to continue.
But equally, let's not criticise him when it wears off and he gets all serious on us. |

It's normal for the drivers attitude to change. When the title is on the line the pressure changes everyone. They become amicable once they've won and a new season is beginning

Type A (Senna, Mansell, Alonso, Hamilton) have aggressive driving styles and can take a car that is 'almost' good and adjust their driving to compensate for the car's shortcomings. Type B (Prost, Hill, Button) have very smooth driving styles and are almost unbeatable if given a car that is setup perfectly for the track. Perhaps a little black & white, but valid nonetheless. |

I'm trying to put down the win, but I don't want to over sell it either. I don't have access to any lap time stats at the moment. |

Button was catching I think, but Alonso was comfy. I certainly don't recall thinking anything other than Fernando was going to get the 10 points.

Ditto Knowlesy.
calibrax reckon you're on the right track, although Prost would've fitted your Type A or Type B as and when required..... |

I agree with this. People say Massa is like Prost because he can dominate a race. Which I find quite an odd thing to say. Of course Prost can do that, but Prost also fought his way to the front by both overtaking or being patient and using his head.

I reckon if Massa is like anyone, it could actually be Damon Hill? As was the case with Damon, if Felipe is at the front he'll tend to disappear. Put him down in the pack and it all goes off for him kinda thing? Overall Massa argubly has more racecraft (by that I mean ability to get past people fairly quickly) in his armoury wheras Damon used to get terribly bogged down in traffic, but I really think they are a similar 'model' of driver. |
