The Mars logo on the drawing looks better than in the real pic, the size is still wrong for the space allotted however.. easily fixed with a stretch of the logo design

on_to_it has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
A golden rule in graphic design is you don't compromise branding standards by distorting logos. That won't fix the problem anyway because the livery is just awful.

yeah, rembering another young, but not quite so young, bloke, he was the FF champion and he carved up the field in his debut bathurst pulling off an awesome pass for the lead late in the race.

Good luck to cameron, hope he makes the cut off and hope he keeps it off the wall

Waters seemed very focussed and aware of the opportunity offered to him in getting through to the final two, will he surprise everyone and do a good job?? God knows, but he's surely in for the steepest learning curve in Australian motor racing history. It would have been interesting to know the lap times, but perhaps more important, knowing the number of laps they did and how consistent they were.

Stepping from a spindly little FF to a V8SC is not a walk in the park. One of us is going to be eating humble pie next weekend.... that is for certain.

Exactly. Massive ask....... and even the Kelly Bros. said more than once in the series that he's a bit ragged and could be smoother. I hope he's got a dial to reign in the aggression. Only 2 sessions in a V8SC then off to the most challenging circuit in the country? Madness.

Based on the speed of Mr Mostert, the 2010 national Formula Ford champion, in the Fujitsu series at the Mountain, it isnt likely that Mr Waters will not have sufficient pace to qualify.

The real challenge in putting 2 effective rookies together (and with Mr Denyer out of the seat for so long, he is almost a born again rookie...) is that there isnt a guiding hand to help fine tune the car to get it set 'right' for a whole day of Sunday running.

The inexperience will also be telling when the cars are full of fuel and on fresh tyres, on having to adapt braking markers for the heavier car... tis arguably easier to drive a car on new slicks and no juice in the tail rather than a car with a couple of hundred clicks on it already, worn rubber, worn brakes... engine flattening off... and the buzzing of 28 other maniacs trying to occupy the same piece of road as you...

We shall see what happens...

... but it looks for all the world that it may be an audition for #16 for 2012

Given that the entry has been accepted with those 2 pilots listed, you would have to presume that the licences are in order...
