Marshall Pruett seems to think it will follow Audi and Peugeot's lead with larger front tyres.

Aside from the nose this looks somewhat like an R18 without a roof.

It looks great
The car is definitely turbo charged because it has one turbo snorkel. I wonder what the air inlet between the two roll over hoops is for. |

I guess modern aerodynamics don't allow to build pretty cars anymore...it looks very bulky.

It doesn't exactly look like it is a low drag concept to me, but then again my aero knowledge is somewhere shy of zero...

Reminds me of something from the mid 70's.

Did any of the drivers you interviewed already drive the car?
I wonder why they went for an asymmetric layout with one air intake in the middle and the other on the right, all under the assumption that the engine is indeed a twin turbo V6. |

I'd say quite the contrary. Doesn't have any of the venting and shuttering you see on the R18. Broad simple shapes with few breaks for cooling or whatnot.

Wow ..... cheers Graham . Thank you DSC .
Reminds me of a Panoz P1 from the side with Dallara looks nose on . Great driver line up too ..... surprised to see Meyrick on the squad . Hope Enge gets the 6th seat . |

I'm going to call it interesting looking. I was excited about the prospect of DSC free wallpapers. Not sure if I even want them now lol. Maybe to get used to it.
But clearly a lot of thought, love and attention has gone into this. I wish them all the best. Was thinking we'd get the sixth driver announcement. Calls for Enge but I'd prefer to see someone a bit less obvious and an Aston newcomer. A big-name addition for LM. Ex-F1 maybe? |

Hmmm. Single turbo straight 6. I didn't see that coming. I was expecting a 120 degree V6 bi-turbo, TBH. Still less weight, and KISS...

You can see where they're going with their claim of 540 hp from the engine; 10 less than Audi and Peugeot. We all know official power figures don't mean anything, but then why not claim the same figure? To the casual observer it already looks like petrol engines are at a disadvantage...
