Le Mans Legend Café
The Le Mans Legend Café closes his doors definitively.

Not a real surprise, but still sad to see it go. So after the Union Jack went belly up a few years ago, and now the Legend café gone, where does one go for a drink in Le Mans?

Quick question. Off the top of your heads (or more specific if you're able), does anyone know when tickets will go on sale from the ACO for LM next year? Particularly for members.....?

Makes me think they are running a big overdraft and want cash as early as possible, or is that me just being cynical.

No, it's the ACO getting organised, finally. Last year I received my tickets November 6th, this year I'm guessing October 25th

No, I haven't. But I already placed my order via mail in July.
Edit: but that didn't stop Nadine from mailing it anyway, can't find anything for 2016, but in 2015 I received it October 22nd, while ACO billetterie opened November 3rd. So 12 days upfront. Still plenty of time for her successor Catherine to mail it to us. Guess she has to wait for the ACO pricing for the tickets before she can get cracking. As soon as the ACO pricing is published, if anyone spots it can they give me the heads-up? I'm looking at trying to sort something for an old friend. Ta.

Cheers Vince, had a good day today, my new (well 40 years old) watch turned up to replace the one lost in the accident. Not as flash and a good deal heavier but looks good and seems to work well, another eterna kontiki.

I'd suggest phoning them, instead of using the shambles they call 'billetterie' on their website. I've used the 'billetterie' before, which worked pretty well, but that was in a quiet period of the year, never on opening day.

Just received a email from ACO containing my special package. The poster, sticker, results of last race wich they used to send by snailmail now arrives digital. What a bummer

When i ordered my tickets i paid an extra 25 euro's to get physical tickets rather than digital ones i have to print off, call me old fashioned but i like to have real tickets that i can keep and also i can pass them on to the others.

Should anything be put into the fact that there is clear BMW and Ford branding, but none for Toyota, even though it is clearly a Toyota featured?
