Nice Avanti (I hope!) and the pre-A looks great too. Well, you say Beetle there. The Fairlady roadster is missing in the Datsun batch. Watta roadster!

Great haul! Was there anything on track or were you just spectating in a car park?

Wish I'd gotten a good picture of a Mustang on track. Was a TA2 car running with buyavette.com on the rear quarters, cause yeah, why not

I caught up with a friend I have not seen for 25 years over the weekend. He always used to be into old Fords, but since I have seen him has moved into a property in the country with several acres and outbuildings that enables him to pursue his passion. A lot of project cars and more bits of old Fords than I know. Some of what was in various sheds.... This top one a 1970ish ZC Fairlane special build with the tall rear end and single side hinge door. Apparently 1 of 10 built for use in rural communities. This one has been used by Police, Ambulance, Fire services, and also as a hearse. Others are all Fords and one is registered and used very regularly.
Oh and a hot rod with a 302 Windsor. |

He has quite a collection (racks) of parts he sells and trades. Im particularly jealous of one of the sheds he has. Plus memorabilia. (pic of the Shell fuel pump rig shows the right way if you click on it)
Interesting garden ornaments, better than gnomes. Last edited by E.B; 30 Apr 2024 at 07:37. |

A couple of guests cars.... one a Commodore wagon I know are popular here. Plus a woman there who was into her Commodore (She has a manicure business hence the NAILSS rego) turned out to be the daughter of a guy I worked with 30 years ago at Mattel. Small world. An RS Clio also in the mix. A rare one that isnt yellow

Impressive property, and vehicle fleet!
Now I want a couch made out of the rear of an old car. |
