Maybe Neveu resigning at the end of the season will help with that.

A nice, though brief, look back at Rebellion at Le Mans 24 Hours

Indeed. Many of us at Tenths have been long supporters of the Rebs, going back to the Speedy/Team Sebah days. Very disappointing to see them throw in the towel, but, to be fair, they could have done that quite a while ago and no-one could have blamed them....

Might the Rebellion racing operation run in SRO GT racing? I wonder what GT3 car they would run?

https://sportscar365.com/sro/world-c...fter-wec-exit/ but pretty sure there was then later another story where they then said there is no GT3 plan, but I can't find it. Last edited by deggis; 30 Sep 2020 at 20:56. |

No, they're stepping away. They've linked up with some sponsorships but think they said racing isn't in their future.

The Rebellion statement included the end of the Dakar program. It may get one more year since Team RD do the heavy lifting and it's cheap compared to running an LMP, and the car already exists.

Apologies if I am resurrecting an old thread but I was wondering what happened to the actual Rebellion team (the assets and staff) - I know they wound up at the end of 2020 as the owners decided to focus their monies outside motorsport - but did they sell the team on or did it just collapse. They didn't do anything with Peugeot in the end as far as I know - but did Peugeot buy the actual assets and transfer staff anyway?

Is Bart Hayden still poking around? Seems like a great person to have in your team.

So what happened to the Sebah part of the team? It's odd not having them around after a decade and a half of continuous presence.

Tbh I didn’t notice Rebellion’s absence, but reading this thread, it’s a shame they couldn’t go on, although at least we have Glickenhaus to replace them in our affections

You didn't notice Rebellion's absence? Even with the Alpine referred to as a Rebellion about 500 times during the LM commentary?

For me, Rebellion have always been there since I started watching ACO racing. First in GT2 with Porsche and Spyker and then as an ambitious team in prototypes, mostly plagued by unreliability, but I rooted for them, being the type of fan who always wants a challenger to do well (except when the challengers behave like Red Bull F1).
