Must admit, I do laugh when you hear BTCC drivers pleading poverty or talking about working in a shoestring or having a real hard time finding money etc.

Their version of ‘hard up’ is very different to yours or mine.

Guess it’s easier to lead a lavish lifestyle when you don’t pay your bills mind you.

Can't help but think of Lloyd Grossman wandering around the house saying in that trans-Atlantic accent of his "The owner of this house obviously won't allow tomato ketchup to be carried from the kitchen" or "despite the opulence the front of the house looks like a travellers caravan."

But renovated with money that was meant to pay for running the team. The house was listed for £750,000 when the Gilhams bought it in 2020, and at the end of last year was listed for double that amount.

Privately owned maybe, but given his position within Hard, you'd assume Gilham would have been taking some sort of wage from the money coming in. The backers would understandably be somewhat irked if they had an outstanding debt from the team while the owner has been buying and kitting out a place that pricey

Are you referring to the BTCC? Do some research then, indeed read this thread. Then you'll realise that things "you've seen on YouTube", "may" not be true?

I've suggested before on this forum that perhaps we'll get a couple of announcements in the next 2-3 weeks, in the window between the entry deadline (March 15th - but some leeway in that) and the first official BTCC test days on 3rd April and 10th April. Wouldn't surprise me though if we hear relatively little until much closer to Media Day on 16th April.

Start at the latest post and work backwards. crmalcolm usually posts an updated table whenever there is an announcement. Latest one is on page 83, post 2068.

Will be interesting to see who's in the second Leon. DeLeon got better as he got more race time but I doubt these 2 Leon's will get the same development level as Restart are doing to their 2 cars.

Hardly surprising choice but not exactly the "race-winning BTCC driver" Autosport seemed to suggest would be in the car! The livery in the Twitter teaser looks very similar to the Rosland Gold colour scheme used by Century in PCCGB last year (and on a Team HARD Cupra displayed at FoS), although the bonnet and windscreen strip say "Unlimited Edition" in the teaser.

But technically entirely true.

He's won a lot of races in other series and is a BTCC driver.
