I would think that keeping their entry list up to date would be one of the foremost important things to the ACO at the moment in the run up to Le Mans.

no i don't know anything...other than they might be busy as its the french moto gp at le mans this weekend.

The ACO shouldn't have THAT much on their hands with MotoGP, should they? It's a series which has nothing to do with them, it's just using the Bugatti track, so do they help organise the event or something?

Yes. ACO's involved in each event on the Bugatti circuit.

At my knowing, they co-owned the circuit. But the most informed ones are Laurent and Claude, from Infocourse.

Now I dont wish there to be a accident in any form of motorsport, but at least if there are any accidents on the test days it could open the door for "other" potential entrants who are ready and waiting for a call from the ACO.

In the entrylist (link), Wendlinger is named as Champion Audi driver instead of Marco Werner. Did I mis something?

It's must be a mistake, saying that they also have someone called J Wakisaka down the to drive the Cration Zytek instead of Andy Wallace.

Wakisaka was in the Dome but has been replaced by Kaneishi.

The ACO driver list is always pretty flakey - but we're all guessing here and there, even at this late stage.

DSC reports that the Lucchini has been withdrawn due to gearbox problems which cannot be fixed in time for the race.

And forget the second Spyker : it didn't show to the scrutineerings. The grid is down to 49 cars, at my knowing. Too bad...
