That is false and a fabrication. the proof is the sprint rounds went back to supercars events where there were crowds and tv coverage because competitors wanted it your assumption that aust gt is aimed at pleasing gentleman drivers is also false, maybe once, but not anymore when we have "factory"supported teams and pro drivers competing but then based on their website, amateur would be correct and i can see why you would think it |

Time to move on.
The timed pit stop approach is here for 2017 and its noted that some posters don't like it. Its not changing for 2017 so probably time to look forward to Round 2 at the Australian Grand Prix circuit. Championship standings after Round 1 http://australiangt.com.au/australia...nship-results/ |

The ones who pay the bills for the cars to be on the grid. Most of the competitors in the field are gentleman drivers Quote:
4 cars in a grid of 27, the rest of the cars are primarily funded by the wealthy drivers who employ a "pro" to co-drive if they wish If you don't cede to the gentleman drivers wishes, then there is no AGT, full stop. |

GT entrants don't care about spectators at the track (as half of them aren't watching, or haven't arrived or have left by race time) as much as caring about TV time and exposure. might help with the tax man. |

they get their chance at the GP. 4 races. 2 car teams, highest seeded driver in Q1, R1 and R3. other driver in Q2, R2 and R4. no pit stop penalties, just balls out racing. |

2 driver won't work as some enjoy driving alone, considering the budget spent. |

Wow, bloody hard to argue with someone who knows what actually goes on, spends large sums of his own money to do so and competes quite successfully considering its basically a hobby.
Well said scudd |
