According to F1-Stinger website,
Sato Takuma might participate in GT300 class selectively by hybrid CR-Z. http://www.f1-stinger.com/f1-news/ne...04/017813.html |

Here's hoping this is the case, would be quite sad if there wasnt an english page to follow the championship with. Mind you Japanese Samurai does an exceptional job on keeping us outside of Japan up to date with the championship. Big thanks to you JS.

About time SuperGT redesign there website. Hopefully we can get an english page going. If not, then my coumputer will just keep translating it for me.
First the hybird Toyota Prius, and now the hybrid Honda CR-Z. Now what will Nissan bring to the table? (that's a hybrid) Or maybe they are happy with the new NISMO GT-R GT3. I believe will be racing in GT300 this season. |

It seems that Dunlop/Nakajima (#32) carried out the tire test at Okayama today.

Autosport web says that team Hitotsuyama racing return to SGT by two car participation.
They have already finished the entry application. Cars are two AudiR8LMS. They carried out the driver audition test at Fuji on Feb 8. Akihiro Tsuzuki and Cyndie Allemann (female driver!) participated in the test. She is a strong candidate. http://as-web.jp/news/info.php?c_id=2&no=38991 Last edited by Japanese Samurai; 8 Feb 2012 at 09:03. |

'Open' fenders on the front of the HSV? Looks unfinished, maybe it is or this is a new solution?

Almost looks like the fins on the sidepods of pre-2009 F1 cars.

Good to see this car again. I hope they do well. Maybe more power this year will help them? They seem to be good on downforce with the car's shape, but it always seemed to me they lacked the straight line speed?

The BRZ looks quite tall. Maybe it's just because he has no helmet!

On this news item it seems there's some info regarding the HSV development by the chief engineer. Unfortunately there's still no english site available. Only for Japanese readers. What the f**k GTA. I can't even see an email adress/contact section on the website. |

I don't think there is much info on the HSV's for this year. Just teams at the bottom of the page. They state Takashi Kobayshi reunites with team Aguri.

[QUOTE=BBSB;3024368]http://supergt.net/pages/pg:news_det...c/ln:ja/id:620
On this news item it seems there's some info regarding the HSV development by the chief engineer. [QUOTE] Tech info is as follows. *There is no major update in 2012. *A side radiator concept evolves. Masahiko Matsumoto's Honda SGT report http://www.honda.co.jp/SuperGT/spcon...preview/vol39/ *Keinosuke Taki retires from Honda this year. Masahiko Matsumoto succeeds his posisiton (Honda GT project leader). *About 2012 spec HSV-010 Update which was due to be introduced late in 2011 is given to 2012 spec HSV-010. The update makes a side radiator concept consistent, and its vehicles balance is improving. *In 2012, Honda is going to adopt not having been introduced yet in SGT although it is common sense in F1. It is the work which collects and analyzes the running data of the machine and it reflects on the race. |

So they aren't talking about the 2012 rules yet, just saying that there are no major changes to the HSV besides better balance and a smaller radiator. We saw the pictures you posted with the low drag front fender. So there will probably be some aero changes. Honda just not giving it all away.
