Aco don't seem to care about gtc performance, bit sad when a budget class (in comparison) spanks the "true racing car" of the gte.
Also expect a big situation regarding brakes to rear its head between now and imola, applies for WEC too. |

Yeah the GTEs have heavily bumped up artificial bop to keep them above GT3s, but they still end up lacking in straight line speed which is amusing. Think everything below LMP2 is gonna be re-bopped prior Silverstone... |

Hindhaugh & Goodwin have just said that it won't be announced this week, but they confirm that it will be big.
They also confirm that Yelloly not drivign was nothing to do with ranking or licence. |

Kind of intrigued by the Yelloly situation. At the time of his signing he said it was his only programme for 2015. Was that not the truth? I doubt it's a funding thing as Jota don't strike me as a team looking for pay drivers. Was he under contract somewhere that he wasn't aware of? I have genuinely no idea.

My best guess would be that he was unknowingly double-booked, and that the other commitment (sponsor-related perhaps) took priority.

GP3/GP2 Monza clashes with ELMS at Ricard, so maybe he now has moved up from GP3 to GP2.

So they do still intent to show up at Silverstone. Bit difficult to predict how the LMP3 actually lines up now with depleted Ricard showing, so little time left and uncertainty on people receiving their purchases

Since three of the 7 cars entered for the full season were initially entered for Paul Ricard, I think at least two cars in addition to the one that ran at Paul Ricard must be close to completion. I guess we will see a slightly depleted LMP3 grid at Silverstone, with the rest of the cars debuting at Imola.

31 cars for Silverstone
http://www.europeanlemansseries.com/...ist_310315.pdf So I was right somehow, the SMP Orecas (not new coupes) have actually been rebranded as AF Corse entries! And AF Corse Ferraris in the Ricard test were running with SMP Racing stickers. What the ****? Anyways, it now means there are 9 official AF Corses in the race out of 31... Five out of seven LMP3s are actually planning to show up, the ones missing from full season list are Cetilar Villorba and Rollcentre. |

I assume it has benefits for SMP to be regarded as an italian, not a russian team.
The tyre situation has been hinted at during the ELMS test, there's probably more. |

But last week DSC said that while AF Corse would still take care of the SMP GT side of things:
In the ELMS meanwhile the SMP Racing BR01 LMP2 coupes will be fielded and prepped by the in-house team, a change form the 2014 programme which saw AF Corse responsible for the team’s Oreca 03.Rs So it's the SMP "in-house team" but team name just rebranded as AF Corse? Which would've been honest last year when they were actually the team in charge, but now just rebrand? Or maybe it's still AF Corse in charge since at Silverstone they are still old Orecas and not the new coupes? Who knows? I mean obviously it must have something to do with the Russian crisis, but it's just confusing to have * AF Corse LMP2 Orecas - originally SMP Racing - run by SMP Racing and/or AF Corse (???) * AF Corse Ferraris run by AF Corse, these cars (at least some of them) have huge "SMP Racing" stickers on side and front * SMP Racing Ferraris run by AF Corse My brain hurts Last edited by Deleted; 1 Apr 2015 at 12:53. |

Algarve Pro are missing from the entry list as well. I guess they couldn't find enough paying drivers.

It's not surprising, when they did ELMS in 2013 with LMPC they were also signed up for full season but ended up only doing two races or something
Maybe they are/were only really fishing for the Le Mans spot |
