Mike’s family have decided that his funeral will be a private family affair.
We will be organising a suitable tribute to Mike at Snetterton as soon as possible, details of which will be posted on here. |

A note on photographs added. Before posting any images sent to me I always run them through some software to enhance the quality where applicable. It can sharpen an image and remove shadowed areas, and make for a better picture. I am always happy to receive pictures for adding to the album, and to spend time working on them. The only downside is that the images always show name of the person who posted them rather than the photographer, as explained on the album itself. If you would like me to work on your pictures before posting, I can send them back for you to add them and so bear your name on the image. Many thanks to all of those who have sent or posted pictures, and do keep them coming. Kind regards, Bauble. |

Thanks Bob, much appreciated. They were photos of photos hanging on Mike’s wall. He had a photo of every car he’s raced on his stairs, I will try & get a copy of them all as I think they should be in the album.

Bob, you're most welcome to add the photos I posted back on about page 10, if they're any use to you.
Edit: top of page 9, post #121. |

Apologies all, I was mistaken, Mike’s funeral is on Thursday at 10am, not today.
I will post links for donations later. |

Ah, makes me feel better - was thinking of Mike about 9am, then we had a family member call and I got distracted - was feeling bad about missing it.....
Seems to be two different Patricia Bacon charities - one for the existing Lodge and one for a new premises, so would appreciate knowing which one Mike's family prefer. |

If we all log on to Magic Mike the viewing figure would indicate how many were joining in.at that time. |

Somebody else I knew also succumbed to cancer in the Priscilla Bacon Hospice, but I gather it is an extremely good place. I think it is new since I lived in Norfolk. |

Excellent idea Baub (who'd have thought it!), I'll be at work but (like now) that doesn't often stop me from logging on now & again...

I wonder if the service is being live streamed. It was available for my late mother in law's service in April.

It would be a good idea for those that can't make it if it was live streamed. It's been done plenty of times even before this lockdown. My late father once watched a live stream of his sister in law's mother's funeral

Cliff knows more than me but I am pretty sure there is no live stream. Sorry.

Mike's funeral won't be streamed online, as it will be a private family affair.
I think Bauble's idea of us logging on to Tenths at 10am on Thursday to have our moment of reflection together is an excellent one. The links to donate to the charities that have been suggested are as follows: https://donation.cancerresearchuk.or...nmemory=1&_gl= https://www.priscillabaconhospice.org.uk/donate/ I looked for a link for the Motorsport Marshalls Fund, but couldn't find one, I could only find links to the British Motorsport Training Trust and 750MC Marshalls Fund, as follows: https://www.bmstt.org/donations.html https://www.750mc.co.uk/store/produc...ls-fund_49.htm |

Not sure it shows the visitors to the actual Magic Mike thread specifically, but if you open the Tributes forum that the Magic Mike thread is in, and scroll down to the bottom of the page you will see a box called 'Active Users', which will show all members presently in the tributes forum threads.

When you first log on to Tenths, and see the Menu or list of threads scroll down to Tributes Forum and it will show the number of viewers, I would imagine that at 10.0am on Thursday the majority, if not all were on Magic Mike.
Hopefully we will see 100 plus viewers. Ian! The idea was to observe a minutes silence. |
