"We need to do our homework because we are still early. It’s difficult to say how many cars could be in each series, but the number of requests we have gotten is higher than what we would have expected."
https://racer.com/2021/03/15/porsche...ltiple-fronts/ Porsche have had plenty of interest for customer LMDHs. |

Do you want proper competition against lots of manufacturers, in the WEC or the easier option against 1 or maybe 2 in the WRC? |

This season is their fifth in WRC, so 2022/2023 is maybe a good moment to move to something else. Let's hope they do. |

BMW must be one of the 7 marques Marshall was referencing then. That would be awesome.
I'd be keen for RLL to get that deal too as Bobby had never hid his desire to go to Le Mans. |

Its a shame Schnitzer has folded, I guess they would have been the obvious choice a few years back.

***LMDh talks are set to continue this weekend between new and prospective manufacturers and teams looking to join the growing platform for 2023 and beyond. ***Sportscar365 understands that Porsche is set to hold discussions with potential teams to operate its factory U.S.-based LMDh program this weekend, including talks with at least one existing championship-winning IMSA operation. ***ORECA’s customer racing service manager Anthony Megevand told Sportscar365 that the French constructor has received additional interest from manufacturers in recent months, with talks accelerating with more OEMs and at an increased level. ***Megevand predicts there could be more than six manufacturers committing to the platform across the four licensed constructors. So far Acura, Audi and Porsche have all announced plans, with the German manufacturers widely believed to be aligning with Multimatic. |

'Michael Andretti has been spotted in the paddock this weekend. The Andretti Autosport co-owner is known to be one of many teams pursuing LMDh programs for 2023 and beyond. Former Corvette Racing program manager Doug Fehan is also making the rounds.'

A Hyundai hydrogen racer makes perfect sense. The wider group are aiming to have hydrogen fuel cells in all sorts of things going forward.

He'd be great for the sport if he was competing in a full-time capacity. His ultimate pace would be interesting. |

He might also be interested in an IMSA drive since he lives in LA. |

It would be nuts if someone like a Ford couldn't get a programme off the ground because the limited number of chassis suppliers are too stacked out.

Also, 4 brands from VW group is nuts to think about too! It would be ironic if ford and GM ended up with the same chassis. Some heads would be spinning over here for sure. |

Will be the same with the next gen cars as they'll all be made by Dallara.
