One way not to miss any action is to watch it every night just in case. Great viewing all round, awsome telecast last night. Obviously you guys aren't looking in the right places. ABC2 (digital) or Foxtel (Digital).

Plenty more motor sport coming up on ABC2, check out the following on Late Night Legends:

27.02.06 and 03.03.06 at 10:45
1959/1960 bathurst

28.02.06 at 10:45 and 04.03.06 at 11:00
1970 touring cars

01.03.06 at 10:45
1973 touring cars

02.03.06 at10:45
1988 sandown 500

As a good journo would know, I can't divulge my source, it's sometimes called research, research, research, research and more research, research, and even more hard work, sweat and tears. And good reliable sources - from the source itself..........

Formula 5000 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Late night Legends is great. I saw all the Sandown races live and forget some of the incidents. Formula 2 race and Jon Smith ralt into the fence. They leave the car there and hold out a yellow flag. Laps late Bob Power forgets about it and dings his Kaditcha into it. They leave both there and keep racing. Different.

Sports sedans were good. Had fprgotten about Moffat racing very quietly his IMSA RX7 to prove that it was "too fast".

Very large crowd in attendance for the old 2 by 4 meeting as they were called. No wonder the bikes didn't like racing after those oily cars like SS had raced.

I only watch it on ABC2 digital. Is it on Foxtel too?? relly great stuff.
It is on a bit late for us oldies though even if I don't have to get up for work.

Don't complain, just be grateful that it is on. I always watch the start of Legends just to make sure what is on as you can never rely on TV guides etc.

More motor sport to come in the coming month, fantastic news that they are keeping it going.

Not complaining, just trying to get as much info as possible so I can ring and try to get them to run it again.

I would have liked to see that. Did you happen to record it Camaroz?

I was in that race with the Torana. I think that was the day that Allan Grice in the BMW and I came together at the end of the back straight when he was lapping me. The cameras may have captured the tail end of the drama.

Grice was not happy afterwards...

Shame i missed it to.

Shame also that the website, neither the Late Night Legends website or the ABC2 TV guide makes any mention of any Motor Racing this week

Head Rev - do your sources know if/when the Sandown Sports Sedans/bikes/F2 episode will be replayed this weekend? (like the others were)

I just rechecked the ABC2 TV guide, and it seems you can backdate days, and it does say that the Swan Series bike races were to be shown on Wednesday February 8......Late Night Legends Website though does not mention this, and it appears that the Wednesday night broadcast is the one night that is getting replayed from this week.....why they stuck it in the middle of a football week and didn't advertise it on the official site, who knows

http://abc.net.au/tv/guide/abc2/2006...006T224500.htm

I guess i'll be checking this one now, not Late Night Legends guide.....

Sorry, brainfade, must rephrase that, the Wednesday night broadcast is not getting replayed, the only one this week not be

Maybe with abit of luck they will do what they did with 'Terrific Touring Cars' the other week, replay it on a random day a few weeks later (they did advertise that one)

kmsport has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Most seem to relate Brock, Moffat, Grice, Richards with Sport Sedans....how about the era of Edmonsen, Briggs...the diversion to GT...it was all intriguing and I remember it well...

Keep in mind what Ch 2/ABC actually telecast back in those days - and also what tapes of these events still remain (in broadcastable quality).

Check out the ABC2 guide, all is revealed, and that is my source. As I said in a previous post, you have to do some digging to find what's on, you obviously didn't read between the lines!!!!

Seeing as they have the 1988 Sandown 500 'tis a pity they don't also have the 1988 Lucas Supersprint World Sports Car Championship round .

You can get this on free to air digital - just need a set top box or a digital card for a computer. The former - $120 - the latter - up to about $199 depending on where you buy.

..........and you need to be in an area where ABC digital is broadcast.

I got my set top box from Woolworths for $75. Works ok but not so good for SBS digital but thats my aerial.
