“We have lots of plans going on, but nothing I can really talk about at the minute. All I know is we’ll be in a front running car. I can’t really say what our plans are and what we’re doing but there are a lot. Taking the title back off Colin is the aim, but there’ll be a lot of people trying to do that so I need to make sure I put myself in the best situation, the best position to do that. There’s going to be a lot of hard work over the winter.”
AJ talking to TCT.

It seems with all of the talk around here, Mr Gow will need to introduce DNQs or hand out 37 TBLs or something. As we've mentioned before though, Tordoff has a lot of £££s himself, has some talent, and also RWD experience.

As for Infiniti entering, maybe they will have Red Bull backing and will field Andrew Jordan and Jean-Éric Vergne in perhaps the most talented 2-car driver pairing in post-Super Touring history. Remember that AJ is a Red Bull athlete.

Also, it seems that Mr Gow is considering stopping Mr Turkington and Mr Bennetts spoiling to fun for his darling manufacturers: http://www.autosport.com/news/report...ce=mostpopular

you mean his pet darling JP

BTW Plato is in the BTCC for like 16 years now , always a manufacturer or top line team and he won the title in just 2 times while Turks maybe not even half of that time won the same number so perhaps JP is really overrated

To look at it in terms of titles is over-simplifying things.

Jason has a 45.2% podium success rate. Colin has a 33.5% podium success rate. When it comes to wins, Plato's rate is 19.4% to Colin's 11.6%.

Although Plato has won 'only' the same number of titles as Turkington, the rest of the stats are heavily in his favour. Titles aren't everything.

Has anyone else seen Sam Tordoff's last retweet?

Quote:
"As the UK becomes an ever bigger part of Infiniti, we’ve got some exciting news to reveal tomorrow. #ParasRacing"
It then has a picture of a darkened Infiniti but I can't work out how to upload it!

Here's the link: https://twitter.com/samtordoff

Done a wee bit of investigative work on Paras Racing and got this on companies house:
https://www.opencompany.co.uk/compan...racing-limited

Richard Hawken runs David Leslie's 1997 Primera:

And his twitter bio is also interesting:

Furthermore he just Favorited the Infiniti tweet...

I love the silly season! Guess all will be revealed tomorrow

Percentage statistics also not all that good a barometer seeing as Jason had a head start of 5 seasons running unless you've been sensible and only counted races entered since Oulton 2002.

Do you have even the slightest understanding of statistics and maths?

Hawken tested the Speedworks Toyota last year and I know was looking at trying to get into the BTCC so that stacks up

Good work to the above investigators!

http://parasracing.azurewebsites.net...rek-palmer-jr/

Ex Dutch Supercar Challenge driver Derek Palmer Jnr will be the driver.

On another note my uncle bought Richard Longman's Datapost Fiesta from Derek Palmer snr.

I'm convinced my AJ/JEV duo will come to fruition though

Will this pave the way for Tom Ingram to move into MG, and Bushell/Pittard into the Avensis?

As for TBLs, I'm sure that Mr Gow can magic some from somewhere #suddenincreasetotrackcapacitiesintheUK #feelsorryforLeaWood

None of the pictures on the site are correct. They seem to have just used stock photos for some reason.

Given the amount of Lorem Ipsum text on the site I think it's safe to say it isn't supposed to be public just yet....

I'm guessing you've never done any website design or publishing, otherwise you'd understand what it means.
