Right, but that does not guarantee that motorsport survives as a spectator sport. If all that most drivers and teams are willing and able to pay for are development frozen spec cars, that might be good enough for them, but it's not something that I would travel 100s of miles and spend a considerable proportion of my income to see. And maybe that's fine for the guys that drive the cars, I'm sure it's a ton of fun to blast around Spa, the Nordschleife or Road America no matter if the stands are empty or full. But from my - admittedly egoistic and entitled - perspective as a fan, I'm really hoping that this won't be the case and we'll see rules that produce cars that are worth watching in sufficient numbers to fill the grids.

Right, but that does not guarantee that motorsport survives as a spectator sport. If all that most drivers and teams are willing and able to pay for are development frozen spec cars, that might be good enough for them, but it's not something that I would travel 100s of miles and spend a considerable proportion of my income to see. It will happen because the entrants will decide what they're willing to spend and it will be massively less then was spent before and frankly whether or not you personally show up to watch is not something we give a **** about.

The Ring is going for Racing in July.
The 24 will be in September. To save Everyone money they are grouping 2 races on the same weekend. We will caravan from our Italian Factory driving our Prototype Road Glickenhaus 004S, with our crew to the Ring and race Two races back to back on July 11 and 12. Two months later we will race the N24. You are all welcome to caravan with us and hang at the races with us.

Pipo is developing it from their Turbo 4 WRC Championship winning engine into a TT V8 for us. We will offer it as an 870 HP Le Mans Hypercar engine as well as an LMDh hybrid engine.

It is. It's half of our TT V8 running at half our needed out put. Our version will be two of them in a billet block.

Jim, this article suggests that both LMH and LMDh will now be targeting 670hp. Does that mean you could have used the Alfa engine after all?

We likely could have but our Pipo will now be able to run for a long time at
670HP instead of 870HP and will be a better engine in the end after all of this BS. Aston really screwed over a lot of people.
