My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place. |

My god, the ads!
Since I tuned in I reckon that there's been more ad time than there has been track or race time. Having pace cars come out every ten seconds doesn't help, either... I think that I shall record the rest of it then skip all the guff later on... |

Those aren't Ford's. They're Triple 8 Norton 360 Pig's.

first off the facilities are shizenhousen to say the least Atmosphere was great - and those F18's MAN! They make the earth move! You can feel the rumble go right through you!! The race was ok -apart from spending 300 $ in tickets just to see my favorite driver laste half a lap - I was opposite where Toddler crashed and before he got checked out by the medical staff he headed for the nearest portaloo Rotten Luck for Toddler and Dumbrell - did very wel regardless! Great save from Murph and a real big pat on the back to Will too |

Who stood up and preformed and proved doubters wrong
Great racing this weekend, To Me Jamie and Will provided what I hope will be a great series, I think Will was a bit peeved with Garths exit on refuel(similar to Sandown last year, pull out into racing line ), but he showed compsoer on the Podium. Graig drove a two great second legs, unfourtunaley in race one the dreaded power steering. Lee Holdsworth what a star,Hope Gary hold this one, Stevie J did well , Van Gis a young bloke with a good engineer and good future, congrats to Rick for tenth in the 2nd race on debut new car new team.
The usual suspects, well some were true to form. |

It was supposed to be using "angel gear" which trucks do to get over the 100 km/h speed restriction yet maintain good fuel economy... shift into neutral... which you cant do in a sequential box unless you push the clutch in

i thought Will was great and was actually driving better then Tander on most occasions over the weekend, i thought GT could have been abit more of a team player on re-entry from the pits.
Jnr i was impressed with this weekend. well i have always thought highly of Lee. i think Giz has all the talent to be big he just needs to tone a few little things down, that will come with experience though. Murph rebounded well today, shame about the brain fart yeaterday. the BJR boys are going well shame about the end to race 2 for McConky. |

Yes, I was thinking of "angel gear". It's a term a friend of mine occassionally uses.
