If you are referring to post 202 the driver is Derek Daly in an Ensign. Carlos Pace died in early 1977.

I'm sure they will be doing something with the aesthetics for 2013. Ugliness is one thing, ludicrous is quite another and these cars look ludicrous. We'll be burdened with them for this season though.

Well, they're not going to win any beauty contests, that's for sure. And even the McLaren isn't the best low nose designed car ever to make it's way onto a race track.

Still, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I hope they'll be there. I see HRT moving ahead of them though, and that's not saying much. At least HRT is in the news about a car, even if it didn't pass a crash test.

Marussia have an all new car coming out, that has had the thinking of Pat Symonds behind it. And the team isn't short of a bob or two. Plus, they have used a wind tunnel on this one! Bet it's got a stepped nose too!

No they are not, but I have decided that if I am going to enjoy the racing this year(which I intend to) then I need to get over the appearance of the cars otherwise it will just spoil the fun..

The McLaren is a beautiful car as F1 cars go in the modern era...

The Sauber is quite sad looking, I am not sure if it's the livery? but it is not very nice...

I am expecting that the grid will be tighter than ever and RedBull will have a real challenge on their hands. Competition is what makes me watch year after year, and I can smell and hear those cars at COTA already..

Yes, there's no point crying about how the cars look. Even the Sauber looks OK to me.

I disagree. God (if indeed one does exist amongst the myriad religions) would have probably banned motor racing. Especially on Sundays.

Some Christian churches also worship on a Saturday.

We still have three new cars to see, HRT, Marussia and Mercedes. Hope we don't have to wait until the first GP to see some of them.

I am listening to Peter Windsor on TFL at the moment, and he is saying that when you see the cars out on track they really look very good..

The Sauber for instance looks way better at Jerez in testing than it's launch pictures, the show is well worth watching..

It was pretty laughable series of online launches from certain teams, I used this page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/F1.TheSKYisthelimit as they had the photos before even the teams sites did, their testing coverage was amazing too. Who said facebook was rubbish, oh yeah I did but I'm changing my mind a bit now lol.
