Now for a little bit of a quiz question. My last two posts do not include any cars (sorry). But if you were to place a car in that location, which one(s) would come to mind?

Edit: Not wishing to entice off topic discussion here, but I dug the article link out of my browser history should anyone be interested. They appear to be, looks like the Harley badge in the middle
Oh no, they're terrible on that truck. Older version I might allow but modern, not so much. But I went to 17s and think you were at what 22s on the previous so not sure our wheel option outlook is different |

It wasn't just about the internal combustion engine powered cars - these was also a display of electric vehicles (of a sort ) |

On the subject of electric vehicles, they are not a new concept. During the 50s here in the UK, most/many of us would have had our milk delivered by electric milk floats, but other companies also had EVs.
Just from memory, again in the 50s and going on into the 60s, Harrods used electric vans to deliver around London and as far as the outer northern suburbs. And also around that time, a laundry company used to use electric vans, and they were travelling up to 100 miles a day travelling to customers and back to their base. |

Is that the ride-share thing or someone's personal whip?
I'll put em on anything I want, it's called class. They're like turbines or firebird/Knight Rider style. |

That looks like an awesome day.
That Sierra has some stories to tell and I had a coworker with a new GM truck in that color. It's awesome especially in the sun because it looks black until you're a few feet away. The last pic, Ram doing Ram things. Per the marketing package they sent me today, their current slogans are - "Grit + Grace" and "Built To Serve". Their marketing has always been so cringe it circles it's way around to cool. For me anyway. Last edited by JHamilton; 11 May 2024 at 05:02. |

I was thinking any small Matchbox / Dinky / Corgi type die cast car as I think the location is the miniature village in Matera.
Either that, and I thought it more than coincidence that Adam posted a pic of the car immediately after the question but Matera was one of the locations where many of the Bond car scenes with the Aston DB5 were filmed. Kill two birds with one stone and say the Corgi model of the Bond DB5 fits the question.... ...... in a very long shot think outside the box sort of way! *sits back and waits to be told its not where I thought it was* And Gerard, "Tata Nano" sounds like some sort of goodbye to a grandmother Last edited by E.B; 11 May 2024 at 15:07. |

Yes - we also got our tyres to squeal, but only because the stone surface causes pretty much anything to squeal tyres! |
