Question is, does it drive home with a pack of hot dog buns in the rear side window? Gotta use every inch of space

Maybe there is enough room in the 2+2 that they don’t have to display their buns?

It certainly has more 'patina' than most E Types you see, I quite like that though.
We live in very different worlds There's a "displaying my buns" joke in there somewhere but I can't think of it right now |

Are you certain that it isn't the same car you see, just needing to replace the tyres after a day's burn outs and traffic light grand prix!

Most McLaren guys in Atlanta are pretty quiet with them, there's chargers and challengers for that other nonsense

My racing partner got a Zed soft top as a nice day car last year. Loves it. So does his dog. First pic is in good company at Rob Roy Hillclimb. Nice I think T-Bird parked behind in top pic. I Like the little raised humps (?) behind your head on the Zed. Or should that be Zee for you US folks? .

Z or Zee looks like an inspiration (Speedster 964 and on for the humps and 968 for the soft top). The dog looks great, dingo inspiration may be? I remember you're a great fan of Simca productions, Facel designed and built the Aronde Océane Grand Carrossier much inspired from the T-Bird of your pic. https://www.simcafacel.levillage.org...php?article209

Surely like an Audi TT; don't remember which came first, though. Or the Peugeot thing.

As to Peugeot inventing something in the cabriolet field, Mike, I think you were thinking about the first ever CC's -aka Coupé Cabriolet-, the pretty '37 402 Eclipse being the most famous. The only Pug of the modern era I can think of is the RCZ Roadster. The only Peugeot I can appreciate is the RCZ coupé, a tribute to Zagato: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peugeot_RCZ One picture shows an example racing at Bathurst in 2013.
https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fich...,_Ratingen.jpg Back to ol'days, I'm convinced that E.B will appreciate the 601 picture. https://www.carjager.com/blog/articl...es-paulin.html |

To be brutally honest, Gérard, most modern cars by which I mean anything after the early 80s, pretty well all look the same to me and most look pretty awful as well.
This is why since the 90s I haven't bought a brand new car because I just can't justify purchasing something that costs so much but is then devalued by probably up to 30% or maybe more when you drive it off the dealer's forecourt. Yes, I know that for those cars where demand exceeds supply, that there could even be a premium for them, but that's not type of cars that we are talking about. |
