According to this article, Michael Latifi was potentially looking to buy Williams after having loaned millions to them. https://www.planetf1.com/news/michae...liams-takeover |

Basically trying to "buy" a seat for his son, much like Dimitri and others. Not surprising...

No, that's not what thought. At the time, I thought Michael Latifi spent a lot of money, loans as it turns out on Williams, when his son was racing with them, hence the article I posted. Basically, he was going to do a Lawrence Stroll with Williams. |

Oof. Mr Vowles had a mouth before brain moment this morning, describing Mick Schumacher and Logan Sargent as "good, but not special".
He has now clarified that by "special" he meant "legendary", as in Hamilton, Senna etc al. Whoops. |

Fortunately he is a very good Project Manager / engineer / racer / leader so PR skills ( BSer) can be left to others

Didn’t hear him say it, just read about it online…kind of seams like a storm in a teacup kind of thing?
Certainly nothing about it seemed untrue or mean spirited to me at least. Thought it was ‘convenient’ that they fired up the engines at the same time as Vowles was giving his apology SKY interview! |

Teacup, more like a thimble. No one is ever gonna argue that Mick is special. Acceptable, possibly good but special?? It's not relative the average bloke on the road, Vowles was specifically referring to OTHER F1 DRIVERS so he's not wrong at all

Perhaps Mr Vowles just wanted to shut RS up. Hope it does And it’s all Guenther Steiner’s fault…. |

Colapinto seems to be having a pretty solid debut so far.

He could become the stabilizing force that Williams needs to be in contention with Haas. A far better #2 than Sargeant, allowing Albon to challenge for points
Vowels couldn't ask for more... |

With so much debate about the top 4 teams at Monza, Williams and their drivers seem to have been left in the shadows. 9th for Albon means he added 2 points to his own and Williams' tallies. 12th for Colapinto was an impressive debut. All in all, a good weekend. I think Carlos would have been pleased to see that performance too.
