YEAH come on over and do Martin Donnelly and Leinster trophy only three weeks apart and i presume we'll find somewhere to park you race transporters.
Can't beat Kirkistown for a good bit of slip stremming! |

Incentives also include free entry for the winner into the WHT and even if you don't win could mean you are entitled to discounted entry and also there appears to be a ferry deal available too. Please find more information on this meeting here:

Is it right that you are visiting Oulton next week to rally some support Motormouth? If so I will see you there!

Good Man Ian, you have the finger on the pulse, as ever!!!
Yip, I'll be there on Saturday to press-gang, I mean gently persuade, some FF1600 competitors to take advantage of the cheap ferry deals, free testing, great racing and superb "apres race" craic. Already have Robert Whelan in the pot, be interesting to see how he goes over here!!!! So I'll meet you for a coffee at some stage.........or maybe something a tad stronger later on |

Just read a report on FF1600.co.uk that there were some incentives on offer to attend the MARTIN DONNELLY TROPHY.
Anybody got any information on what these might be, such as the Irish Ferries discount? Sound tempting |

Alan, go to the website linked to from that news page, click on MD Trophy in the left hand menu and the third or fourth news story down contains lots of information about the ferries in particular.

A reminder that there are also discounted travel and testing packages on offer for the MDT's Southern Irish cousin, the Leinster Trophy. Details were announced back in May, but can still be found here: http://www.ff1600.co.uk/index.php?id=1133.
Since this news story was written, the Leinster Trophy has of course been confirmed as an FF1600 event again. Hopefully both the Kirkistown and Mondello Park events will attract superb entries and plenty of visitors - good luck to both sets of organisers. |

Well, made it to Oulton on Saturday, great day's racing and many thanks to Ian Smith for allowing me to speak at drivers' briefing (or should I say for giving me a slot on his shopping channel ) A lot of drivers took the substantial Drivers Information Pack for the Martin Donnelly Trophy, and three or four reckoned they would definitely make it
Ian even arranged for some of my info packs to travel to Mallory the next day for some interested parties there. Top Man! As for the racing, Tom Bradshaw was pretty impressive, wasn't he? Never eased off, even when he had a huge lead he was using the grass on the exit of corners and getting the car into allsorts of shapes on the quick stuff. Respect!!! |

I was going to come over if my Irish backer was interested in covering it.
Unfortunately, he's not, so it's a no-can-do. Shame, as I was looking forward to the jolly, but there you go. Maybe next year! |

Um...maybe I'm not coming after all. Or at least not until there's something big and sturdy to hide behind
