How was Kyles interview after Montoya incident - "i just wanted to wreck myself" or something like that
How is Montoya percieved in NASCAR these days - gaining a reputation as someone not to mess with? Be good to see him in a Hendricks or Gibbs team, even tho Ganassi go pretty good... |

I very much doubt that. I think he largely has gained a lot of respect as a hard racer, alhough he will have his enemies like anybody else.

Have you ever been over here for a race? Are you consistanly around circle tracks? No? Exactly, I think this is one subject I actually have the upper hand on, due to the fact I actually live here and deal with NASCAR fans on a daily basis.

You mean the people in the stands? That's probably another story but I am sure he's respected by other drivers. Of course not all but that can be said of other drivers.

John Paul must have gained the respect of drivers, IMO, and if he takes out Kyle every weekend, he'll gain the respect of some fans as well. too bad kyle (and/or his spotter) can take most of the blame in this incident he as turned into to JPM at the end. and kyle has turned more than one driver going down the straights; turned Colin Braun while he was leading just this year and surely Colin "wanted to wreck himself", too .
as usual, no sorrow for kyle here. |

For the record I was talking of the drivers, people such as Tony Stewart who have a ton of respect for the Monster as opposed to some randomers stood at Dover turn 2. |

I am in Didcot 7 days a week, don't mean I am an expert on Williams F1.

OK. It's been a couple of weeks since Daytona, and the first Superspeedway without that "awful wing".
Watching Chicagoland again, I am convinced that while the drivers may like the spoiler more as it's easier to set up, I think the racing was closer with that "awful wing". Look at Daytona again, and how it was back at the first race of the season. Gone were the packs of cars bump-drafting. Back is the nose-up-behind in the turn, take the air and the car ahead gets loose. I'm gonna stick my neck on the chopping block here and say "Bring back the (awful) wing for the big speedways!" What do YOU think? I don't care about what the cars look like, it's the racing. |
