2 K. Raikkonen McLaren 1.20.215 58 3 F. Massa Sauber 1.20.376 51 This car seems to have hit the ground running. In only his 2nd test with the new car DC is straight on the pace with MS's 2001 pole time of 1:18.201. |

Sorry, should've read the article first! ...DC was actually in last years mp4-16. Kimi was the one in the new car.

hmmm...thats quite a big uh oh for Ferrari. However, he didn't actually beat MS's time so they can breathe a certain sigh of relief...it could have been worse!! My first impressions are that it's gonna be between Ferrari and McLaren again this year, i don't think williams will have the required reliability, they'll barbecue that 900+bhp engine too many times!

For once i really think it would be a 3 way fight...and i hope for one too! =) Williams would be in with a shout.
In terms of horsepower: Williams - 1st Mercedes - 2nd Ferrari - 3rd In terms of reliability: Ferrari - 1st Mercedes - 2nd Williams - 3rd |

IF williams and mclaren manage to build cars that are more reliable than last season then we are potentially in for a very good season, of the top 6 seats, tgf, rubens, dc, kimi, rafe and jpm i can see 5 potential winners (sorry rubens) with tgf and jpm fighting it out for the wdc, rafe and dc fighting for 3rd place and kimi popping in his first win......this could be the best season for a few years! (i hope anyway)

I think Renault could actually play an influential role in the title as they are the potential surprises for the season. They may deprive the 'big 3' of points and that could be key.... If Michael hasn't already won it that is.

I think Ferrari will be at least 2nd in terms of horsepower, this isn't to say, however, that they will have the fuel consumption problem sorted out that was dogging them last season. Hope they do!
