New ETC Rules have been announced
The new ETC rules have been released for 2002. Basically BTCC rules but cars must have 4 doors and have more freedom in brakes and gearboxes. I reckon we should introduce these new rules to take over Super touring and those dumb TOCA Touring Cars. It could bring back racing like we had in ST in 95-96-97. The new ETC rules will provide a platform for World Touring Car regs, and as the FIA will more than likely approve, they will encourage all countries to use them, as i have read they are seriously considering a World Series. Hopefully this means the death of our ancient V8 brick dinosaurs.

Speaking of bricks, i think you're belting your head against a waall here. The people of Australia have already voted, with their feet and their wallets.
I loved Super Touring, but it isn't viable to run a series for me and six of my mates. The vast majority of Australian race fans would rather watch V8 Falcons and Commodores, so that's what we get. |
