Anglesey accommodation recommendations
Dear all,
I'm making the trip over to Ty Croes for the 29/30 June meeting and wondered if any of you kind folks could recommend a good (= clean + reasonably priced) hotel/B&B. I've seen that the Maelog Lake Hotel is very close and reasonably priced. Anyone have any other suggestions? Ta v much |

The Maelog is about 10 minutes drive away - DO confirm your reservation if you're staying there as I have heard a couple of horror stories about people being turned away due to booking mix ups......
I have a couple of other local B&Bs that I can look out for you as well - I'll post them when I get home! Just out of curiousity, what's on on the 29/30th? Last edited by EvilPumpkin; 11 Jun 2002 at 07:59. |

Mention Anglesey Circuit when booking & they will do B & B for £25 per person (two sharing), a £5 discount on the normal price. |

Hopefully, the standard has improved as my other half may well be coming, and she's expecting to be kept in the manner to which she's become accustomed |

I stay with my family when in Anglesey... but seeing as they won't be able to fit you all into their bungalow I think we need some alternative information.
As a "resident" of Anglesey throughout my childhood (and indeed my adulthood as I spend a lot of time there each year), I'm pretty well qualified to discuss Anglesey and its accommodation. If money is no object, there's the Anchorage Hotel at Four Mile Bridge (my aunty is the receptionist there), the Valley Hotel and Bull Hotel in Valley. If B&B's are more your thing, there are hundreds of B&B's - if you PM or email me your requirements then I can get my relatives to get the latest information. |

Thanks, Suzy - I'll PM you.
Do have a little more info on the hotels you mention here? This would be v. useful to add to my website |

Actually it's not my mum but my mum's brother and his family...
Paul: I'll get the relevant URL's for you - I believe those hotels have websites somewhere. |

My problem now is that my mum and dad won't let me go to Anglesey... I am now mega-annoyed. They say it's too close to me going to the Grand Prix the following weekend and they're not having me spending all my weekends at motor racing circuits!!!
I now feel very !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
