MARSHALS' BAR B Q at ANGLESEY THIS WEEKEND

The North West FF1600 drivers will be repeating last year's Bar B Q for our friends in Orange.
This Saturday [25th June] at Anglesey, shortly after thr racing has finished.

Floor show provided by Jan Gower

Either in Parc Ferme, or the Scrutineering Bay [outside the bay, not under it - I'm still coughing after last year]

Asp, you're only being half a marshal this weekend so you can only have half a sausage

If I'm only half a marshal, when you're marshalling what does your size restrict you to as being?

Although I won't be able to attend I would like to offer many thanks to the NWFF1600 guys and gals for their hospitality and for thinking of the marshals. I hope you all have a really great night and that the weather is simply wonderful.

It also means that I might get out of having to take Mrs FM to a posh fish restaurant!

The "Golden Cod" in Rhosnigr hardly equates to posh FM?

Diz, will you be doing Doggy bags, as I will need to scarper asap after the end of racing?

Mark,
Doggy bags contain the uneaten remains of a meal [to be consumed later] Until the barbie has done it's thing, there won't be any cooked food to consign to the said Doggy bags and you'll be well 'scarpered' by then.
Pity you can't stay behind, but you could always patronise [or should that be give your patronage to?] the said Golden Cod in a hasty pit stop [and nibble on a bag of chips] en route to wherever it is you deem more worthy of your attendance.

Once again thanks to the NW FF guys for organising the BBQ. It is really appreciated. Its always great to get over to Anglesey as its a fantastic circuit that makes for entertaining racing. Any marshals out there that have not managed to get to Anglesey, you are missing out!

Thankyou

To Diz and all the other NW FF guys thanks very much for the barbeque and beer on Saturday night it was really apprecaited by all the marshals. Also thanks for such a good weekend of racing, I dont think there was a bad race all weekend and the weather was fantastic. My first time at Anglesey to marshal cars and I have allready volunteered to go back when the Legends are there at the end of July. If anybody has considered going but not done so yet I recommend you give it a go.

Thanks to everyone for the BBQ. It is appreciated. It's noticable how small clubs, etc. can put something like this on whereas "professional" organisations (e.g. TOCA) with lots of money can't even give us a drink at the end of the meeting.

Now here is a regular poster, Mod, big wheel in all things marshalling and thoroughly good egg.
Wouldn't the NW marshals appreciate that pair of red footwear making a guest appearance at sunny Trac Mon and I'm sure the drivers would give him a can of lager for making the effort.
Come on Stephen, spread your wings. We'd love to see you 'oop north'
