trebor901 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
DTC: James Thompson vs. Unimog and huge digger

This looks painful and i should think the car is a write off and will need a reshell

Much better idea of the incident than the one shot I had seen already, thanks!

One question: what was that guy in the green vest doing running towards the car?!

Thommo and Hartmann just dont have luck their side this season. They skiped the last round at Gothenburg cause both cars where damaged at Padborg. Hope they dont have to skip the next ScTCC round too!

Damaged how? As I recall TomP won the last race, and Hartmann himself never appeared on track. What did they do, set the transporter on fire?

Have to ask, when was that? Granted I wasn't at the track, but the only time he ever appeared on the timing screens was during the shootout, and then with no laps completed. Oh, and typical this happens during the weekend when there's no TV coverage. I'm not surprised, though. This has been an accident waiting to happen for several years now. Hopefully everyone gets a wake up call now (in both Denmark and Sweden) before we loose something more valuable than equipment.

I wish there was video of this-how far away were the heavy equipment from the side of the track?

There are so few cars racing in DTC that if Hartmann don't turn up to the next round all drivers will score points

Sort of has been the case all year. But worry not, the Swedes are coming to rescue for the next round. Oh, and what happened to Flash's plan to run all DTC races? But about the digger, I've seen worse. The one parked after the crest at Knutstorp earlier this year comes to mind. Or the one going out on a live racing circuit last round at Jyllandsringen, riding around on the racing line and dodging off track when the leaders came up behind him. As I said, this has been an accident waiting to happen. It's a little bad luck Thommo spun off where he did, but it's hardly surprising a car could end up there. There should have been (long-term) one of those diagonal armco barriers in the way. Short term you shouldn't ******* park a digger there. Safety first. If there's no room on the (very small) infield he'll just have to wait in the paddock. Djursland is a small place, it's not going to take him long to get to wherever he needs to be.
