Even if it didn't have a lot of overtaking, the tension between Kimi/Ham/Vettel kept it interesting to the end. 8/10

it is not often you see a 1 - 2 - 3 from 3 different teams close enough at the end that it really had to go till the end to be able to determine who would win. A good solid 7

3. Can’t overtake. Stupid tyres. Daft DRS. Track limits. Awful engine sound. Only the top three teams could win. Tyres with silly names and colours. Inconsistent steward decisions.

Great race, gave it an eight but could have been a 9 if the first lap incidents and Rici's car fault had meant all 6 cars fighting at the end

7, maybe 8. Pretty exciting last dozen laps, with the title still in the balance. Delighted for Kimi, who had probably given up any hopes of winning another GP. Vettel buggered it up yet again and clearly doesn't deserve the crown. Lewis does, and will undoubtedly succeed. He becomes ever more impressive and engaging as the season reaches its climax. We should be proud of him.

Er, have you considered transferring your attention and affections to synchronised underwater crocheting? Very absorbing, I'm told...

Initially it wasn't the most scintillating race until the last the 10 laps or so, what with the WDC at stake and then it came alive. Otherwise it was a tad pedestrian, though the battle with Kimi and Lulu was great to watch.

Gave it an 8.
Problem was that the TV's (justifiable) concentration on the WDC race prevented us seeing much of what seems to have been a pretty intense mid field battle. |

7. What could have been a fairly straightforward race had a nice twist, which made it into a quite intriguing one, with the win being uncertain till the final few laps. If only Vettel hadn't made the mistake on the first lap

8 from me, Max's drive from downtown Houston and the will-he-won't-he in the last 5 or 6 laps were great to watch.

I was so tired at the end of the weekend that I kept nodding off. From everything I've read, that was entirely down to me and not the race though. So I've abstained this time, and I'll go back and watch the race again when I'm feeling fresher.

A very generous 10. The best race of the year for me, the fastest car won, the best car came 2nd, gripping throughout. Max was amazing, Lewis tried everything but the Merc is still crap in dirty air. Delighted to see Kimi win. After Vettell's mistakes last year Ferrari backed the wrong horse this year, Kimi is still fast, in a car made more for him, with strategy to help his unflappability could well have won the WDC again.

I gave it an 8, The cars are rocket ships watching them in person just to the left hand side of the bridge at 2 into 3..
I do not like to watch fuel and tyre saving…. |

thoroughly enjoyable race. as others have said, my only complaint is also that i wished we had a few more laps to watch. |

Gave it 7 - certainly kept everyone on their toes! Would have been 8 if it hadn't been for silly disqualifications for momentary fuel aberrations that surely didn't influence anything.......
Would probably have been 9 if Mercedes had switched the brain cell on and pulled Hamilton in 3 or 4 laps earlier for his second stop....... |

For me, an almost unheard of 8, bumped to a 9 for the Iceman's smile after a thoroughly deserved victory. I really enjoyed it. I like COTA particularly because there are opportunities to overtake which aren't wholly DRS related.

A 7, bumped to an 8 for the Kimi factor.
He has been a firm favourite of mine since witnessing his P1 & P2 performances in the flesh at Albert Park back in 2002. |

By the way, I really enjoyed the pre race and post race show also. The positive changes that Liberty Media have done really stand out in reference to allowing fans to engage both at the track and on tv. It is a world of difference compared to the Ecclestone regime. The whole atmosphere has changed for the better.
