Yep - agreed - I see Bourdais taking the title with victory in Australia

Wow! Marshall was 2nd quick in the first practice! Guess the speed he showed in Vegas has stuck.

Plus he has actually been to this track before. Be interesting to see if he can maintain the rage.

Anyway, intermittent rain prevented a lot of guys from doing many laps - as a result the lap times are slow and quite spread out.

Will Power sixth in his first ever ChampCar session on a slippery track is impressive too!

The Bathurst race has put some fire in his belly. He had to drive that Ford with Ffnesse to finish, hopefully it has rubbed off onto his Champcar driving style.

Bourdais gets provisional pole!!!

And claims his second straight Champ Car World Series title.

Tagliani impressive for the home team in second.

Repeating today's lead story, Sebastien Bourdais is the 2005 Champ Car World Series Champion!

Maybe the fact he's been ditched for next year has sped him up!

Amazing stuff from Marshall. Not having to learn the track is a pleasant change for him.

I think Servia or even Allmendinger might pull off the victory this weekend. Tags is in the back of my mind, would be quite a celebration if he pulls of a win come Sunday.

Is the ChampCar site not loading for anyone else? I want to have a go at this free race director.

Go Power & Marshall!

Interesting in that no driver has ever won Australia twice.
I hope the amazing trend continues, and that Servia gets the victory.

dont know the exact times but Channel 10 will be starting their coverage at 11am apparently , so should be a good day on the couch.

A V8 race and Champcar Qualifying and whatever else they show , should be good

I'm going to give my opinion here. I am tired of Race Director giving these free races, great for people who can't get it or whatever but for people who pay for it and it is now the 4th free race I think and we only have one session to view and also just before Long Beach it advertised all sessions can be viewed yet they fulled a fast one and minutes before the practice they anncouced that it would be selected shows and nothing on Friday.

Yeah i know there on at 11am,and it will definately be a good days racing..I know the v8 race is about 3:45,so ChampCar qualifying would have to be about 2pm wouldnt it.

If anyone knows the times that will be great.

Go P.T and A.J....Should be a good racing weekend

Is it free this weekend Race Director? I received an email the other day that didn't say anything. Anyway. Looks like here in Spain we will get Eurosport live at 5:15 am, so that's great.

Probably.

Final practice is about to get underway , perfect blue skies (according to race Director) but there is a problem with a curb so there is a slight delay.

I'm confused, why was Marcus Marshall forced to serve a drive-through during PRACTICE for cutting a corner?
