Safety and Medical cars
Just in case you were wondering what Bernd Maylander and his colleagues will be driving.
http://www.f1technical.net/news/8395...40fff44feb7a49 Hopefully we won't be seeing too much of either.........well,not the medical car anyway. |

Well, they sure need to keep it updated, considering that A1GP uses this... http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2327/...c5e84ab86f.jpg
But that said, a mean car. Must be a blast to drive. |

Damn sight better looking than the A1 GP alternative though.
And the sound. |

Well.. first you must prove that you're a very good driver.
No demerit points on your driving license will be a bonus. |

The current driver of the SC is former DTM driver and Nurburgring 24 Hours winner, Bernd Maylaender. Who drives the medical car?

Alfa Romeo is once again supplying the Medical & Course Cars for the Australian Grand Prix.
F1 bring their own Medical & Safety Cars (one of each plus one spare of each) the rest of the cars are supplied locally with some nice flashing lights that I wired up about 4 years ago. I'm one of the Flag Marshals allocated to Turn 13. |

After seeing these cars today, I think they are freaking awesome. The noise they make is supreme to everything except F5000's and the Aussie Racers. They look cool going fast as well.
