South Korean Grand Prix?
Motorsport News here in Australia has claimed that the announcement of a South Korean F1 GP will be announced the day after Shanghai.
Any truths to the rumour? Where would you like to see it held? Your thoughts? |

Was there not supposed to be a Champ Car race there? I'm assumung a new track is being built, rather than using a street course.

Any information on the track ? Is it designed by Tilke ? Can it be seen on Google Earth ? Is it near Seoul or further south ?

I have to admit that I am slightly cyncial about a South Korean Grand Prix - after all rumours of such a race have been around for quite some time. That said, there is a definite trend to new venues, so it must be a realistic possibility.

Absolutely, a growing economy will always buy more cars than a stable one - sales of new cars in Europe and America are only equivalent to the wear on existing ones, not the whole new demand of more people being able to afford it.
A shame if it means another characterless Tilke design though. |
