Accee should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Who is going to win at Canberra?

Well....who?
I say Fords will be up there,
Marcos Ambrose will win I hope.

That reverse grid race will throw a major spanner in the works once again....

I'd say HRT. Why? Why not....they've always served me well in tipping comps

I wonder if the Rat will go mad again?

Is it a handicap again this year, a reverse grid in the mix?

People are getting sick of the contrived nature of the races in this series, and I can't blame them...

I'm with Ray, I loathe reverse grids and any kind of contrived entertainment masquerading as sport. I say let the best team win and anything else smacks of socialism. The reverse grid turns the whole bloody thing into a lottery. All a serious tipster can try and do is pick the pole and first heat winner. I'm going to go for a HRT 1-2 there. They're clearly the class of the field this year, as usual and it's definitely a Holden track.

Yep, I agre with Ray and David. The reverse grid is stupid. A circus. Anyone could win. Hopefully a Ford can take the round.

A Ford win?

I wouldn't go that far...

OK, we'll make this the official Canberra thread.

Qualifying can be found at http://www.racetime.com.au/racedata/j0135/q01fast.htm

I love that front row, and Big Kev must have gone on a diet

Radisich had did a 1:43.2704, while the lap record last year was a 1:45.3569, so they are fairly honking.

Bright, Bowe, Besnard and Barganna....17th through to 20th...not good

If this is a Holden track, the Ford is looking pretty.. damm.. fine!
I think the laptimes will be quicker this year as they have widened the track in quite a few places and opened it up a little. Seem to remember something with " Our Craig" on RPM last week!

20 cars under the old lap record - and then broken in each of the races - Lowndes, Ambrose and then back to Lowndes again...

The revised track is clearly faster and I think the racing was also better.
