My sources just confirmed that micheal will be replacing memo whateva hisnameis for vancover!
Omg! i am so happy! he was such a great boy to watch last few years!

I am sorry to see Memo Gidley lose a seat, but by all accounts Michael is one of those young fellas who has the talent to acquit himself well.

It is good to hear that Michael is getting a shot, but I hope someone picks up Memo, he would be a great asset to any team. Is Michael's ride only for Vancouver? Being that it is his home race.

Either Michel's ride is a one-off for his home race, he wanted to make his debut at home to help the media buzz, or it was a last-minute situation that removed Philippe - remember that Memo didn't get in until the Saturday.

either driver is fine by me but I'd like to see Valianta get a go so we can see what he can do.
as a side note , i was browsing a website and noticed Valiante was apparently going to drive in the last round of 2003 for Derek walkers team but of course the race was cancelled due to the wild fires in the area. I dont really remember this , is it true was he due to make his debut last year ? |

Tough question. Are Valiante's sponsors one-offs? And who are they in the first place? Is LeasePlan specific to Philippe, or the team? What can Valiante bring to the table that Gidley cannot?
Vancouver will be interesting, but the remainder of the season will be even moreso. |
