nemesismoo should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
FWD race suspension setup

Hi guys, my first post on here, I track / race a FWD car we have built.

Weight approx. 950Kgs empty, but has a load of power!! weight is split approx. 70% fr / 30% rear

Races on full slicks size 270/640/18 Front & 240/640/18 Rear
Front is McPherson struts, rear is beam axle & car has a quaife ATB LSD.

Front springs 600lb/" with either 18 or 21mm ARB

Rears 500lb/" with 25mm ARB (Largest aftermarket one I can get)

Looking for advice on spring / ARB rates.

Front Neg camber -4 degrees.

Car also has large spoilers / splitters / defusser.

Front spring rate seems very high, I would have thought 400lb front springs might be better. Everything else seems OK.

Have you driven the car yet?

Yes - we went up from 400lb to 500lb/" springs & that helped, this was done at same time as increasing the rear spring rate. We have gone up in steps.

Yes I know its not ideal, but we had a lack of outings with the car / chances to experiment. :-(
