I just wish that AFOS get their act together and take over this series again. ATCC, ATCS, I don't care. Anything but TCSA. Otherwise all the competitors will just move to MTCC and HTCC.

Because ever since IMSP took control, the fields have been a joke. Half of the teams and drivers just do one or two races, and the Sepang event was just made up of HTCC drivers because HTCC raced on the same day. People just race this for easy entrance into Macau GP.

My understanding is their cars got problems so cant join the full season, like .... Lo Hui Pui (778 Autosport) - his BMW late delivery Team AAI - their Honda Civic FD2 heavliy damage in Taiwan Toring car champ... Dragon Racing Chevy Lacetti - Parts problem George Ong - team problem ...... ...... ...... Also the last race in Thailand Bangsaen dated changed in last minute as Thai ASN focus on their first ever ROC ... so some drivers cant attend for it as time crash.... ... as far as i know nearly 100% of drivers raced in TCSA 2012 will join full season in 2013 (woo !!!) - that should over 20 cars on grid (!!!!) About entrance to Macau GP... For those TCSA drivers who also join HTCC/MTCC... their cars are ex-WTCC works cars, and they should(really) easy secure Macau entrance from HTCC/MTCC. I can't see drivers join TCSA for easy Macau entrance. |

The Lacetti's joined because one of the drivers got into a massive argument with HTCC management 778 already has a S2000 spec peugeot and not to mention their SP FD2 which has seq gearbox so he will have no problem keeping up. The fact is that ATCC/ATCS/TCSA used to be really popular, with Engsler and Petronas setting up teams. TCSA management needs to come up with an added incentive for drivers. Because from how I see it, its just the exWTCC cars and Kuroki-built fleet of Integras racing each other. |

Okay, I'm confused. Is this a series on its own, or is this ATCS under another name?

In 2011 it was AFOS (Asian Festival Of Speed organisation ) running ATCS (Asian Touring Car Series) but for 2012 their was not going to be ATCS or any other championship until Danny Stacey Chau (Team IMSP) stepped in & organised TCSA championship which will once again run in 2013.
Now they have released dates (5 months earlier than last year) so hopefuly their will be a better grid to give Tin Sintra ,Jusan Chen & Kuroki more competition. With good grids it may move another step forward in 2014 |

Apart from Tin Sritrai and Kenneth Lau, all the other racers are unknown for me. This championship is still very from the glory times of Steve Soper, Joachim Winkelhock, Charles Kwam, Nattavude C., etc.

I'm still surprised the championship lacks a race in Japan or China. On that note what happened to the JTCC that was apparently coming back this year?
Got to say as well, there is a ton of Honda's racing in this championship. Ex-BTCC/STCC/WTCC I presume? |

Half of the Integras in this championship are built by Kuroki Racing. Very very quick cars and can hang around with the S2000 cars. 300+HP, seq boxes (or H-box for some, wide body kits, etc. The FN2's are the old Team Dynamics cars from BTCC. China already has CTCC, Hong Kong has HTCC, and Macau has MTCC. I suppose TCSA is just to serve the remainder the region. As for Japan, I really don't know as the economy is still bad and JTCC may as well be called off (god-forbid). |

Where can we find a provisional entry list? Asia, it's always been a place of myth and legend. But is there something else lurking out here?

The Bangsean street festival is better than Macau The only downside is that WTCC don't race here on a + side you can relax with a beer on the beach after watching the racing |
