GP Bugattis - individual histories needed

As part of my ongoing research into Brooklands race course, I am coming up against colossal confusions over the many Bugattis which raced there. While the majority were of course Type 35s, there were appreciable numbers of Brescias, T51s, 37s and 39s as well as the Indianapolis T30 models.

Can anyone provide details of which was which, who drove what, and if there are any good published tables of this?

I've scanned through the Bugatti marque book which was published just after the war, but it appears to me that this may well have been superseded as there is much in it which seems factually vague.

In particular, I am looking for:

Jack Lemon-Burton's cars - how many, when, and who he sold them to
Jack Barclay - the same

Many notable Brooklands regulars ran Bugattis at one time or another. Does anyone have information on the cars of Dudley Benjafield, Chris Staniland, JC Douglas, Tim Rose-Richards, Jack Dunfee, Hon Brian Lewis, BH Austin, Jack Howey, Harold Purdy, PL Densham, George Duller, WH Elce and L Preston?

There must be some BOC people reading this out there...

Tim,
did you try out this Bugatti site? http://homepage.mac.com/bugatti/jacob/InfoHunt/

There are also the Bugatti books by H. G. Conway.
1. BUGATTI 'Le pur-sang des automobiles', 1997, now in its fifth edition.
2. Grand Prix Bugatti, 1983, last published in its second edition.

You can find these books at http://www.abebooks.com/ but if you want to look at other out-of-print book stores, let me know.
