I'm trying to be enthusiastic, but it's not quite happening.
Whatever the outcome, please let it be a cracker of a race! |

Same here.
It's all a bit "meh" at the moment. What a contrast to this time last year. |

Yeah, I know what your saying. I won't be able to catch any of the action (I will tape it though) but I'm not to fussed about it.

The excitement for me is seeing whether Toseland can keep up his strong testing form. The title will probably be between the same 3 as last year.

I really hope MotoGP can turn it around this season. It has been the highlight of my motorsport viewing for years but last season was just flat. I really couldn't get excited about it.
There's been some great racing in WSBK and WSS so far this season so it has a lot to live up to... 18 bikes is a pretty poor turnout, I know the saying "quality rather than quantity" but..... it's turning into Formula 1 on two wheels. Bring back the 500cc bikes! Also interesting to see the MotoGP wins shown in the first post: Rossi 62 - 32 Rest of the World |

I wouldn't be surprised if we see some Bridgestone riders crash in the first part of the race. There are some concerns about the temperature...
http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/sp...orjohnhopkins/ I hope nobody gets injured this weekend. According to Corser and Stoner the stones in the kitty litter could be called propper rocks. It would be a disgrace if that would be the reason for an injury! |

Pedrosa Hits Rossi
A bizarre crash. Rossi appears to be cruising on the racing line. Pedrosa accelerates normally, Rossi doesn't. I think Dani has every right to be annoyed. |

The way I see it Rossi would have (or SHOULD have) known that Pedrosa was close behind. In that situation he should have accelerated normally out of the corner then pull to the inside and cruise if he wanted to. His mid corner speed seems OK, the problem was he didn't accelerate hard out of the corner as Pedrosa would have rightly expected, catching him out.
I think it was Rossi's brain fade on this occasion. We'll have to agree to disagree. |

Lol, racing incident for me, nothing in it really, you can hate Vale all you like but there are far better ways of taking a rider down than deliberately slowing off the turn to do it!!
He couldnt even see them bloke in relaity and was probably just easing the throttle off the turn Havent you heard of car insurance? The person behind is alwasy in the wrong in an incident like that! Unless of course Honda have suddenly got a huge leap in driove off the corners!! |

Melandri and Stoner 327kmh
Toseland 312 Edwards 311 says it all really on 2 counts, Stoner is taking the mick out of the other Bridgestone men by still being quick and the Yams are so much quicker than everything in the corners on Michelin. Does anyone know if last years 25 tyre rule or whatever it was still applies, I am not sure what teh deal is with tyres thins year |

At no point did I say he deliberately tried to bring Pedrosa down. You're entitled to your opinion chunder, but if you want to comment on mine please comment on what I said, not what you think I said. |

I took "you can hate Vale all you like" to be referring to me. If I got it wrong I apologise.

What was Pedrosa doing?
Super impressed with Lorenzo and Toseland - both had Stoner pace, up until the bit where the engines stretch their legs. If the Michelin becomes the tyre to have in the race we are in for an interesting result. |
