Most people won't see it until tomorrow - but I think it's a positive refresh.

It is odd, IIRC normally new designs come in with the new F1 season.

Not sure we need another separate Autosport thread (especially as I haven't seen this week's yet), but I'll leave it as it is for the moment before thinkling of merging.....

Surely it can't have a new look? It only changed in March!
Or will there be more "photo-shop" utilisation? |

Last week's issue was nice at least, with the touring car feature. Especially the one written about STCC...

Bigted,
I suggest you check your sources. We still use Quark Express. John |

Thanks. We might well move to InDesign in the next year or two, incidentally. I've been working on it at home already and it's excellent.

Too difficult to read, this rag just lurches from one disaster to another...

We've got a McLaren Fleece on subs offer at the moment.
Ghinzani, what do you find harder to read? Is it typefaces, layout, mag structure? John |

I like it too......much improved. Although I'm reading through 1982 at the moment, which has great lengthy reports.

I like it. Much cleaner and fresher. Minor criticisms are:
Sometimes the typeface is a little difficult to read (Mr Roebuck with 'proper' writing in paragraphs was a touch tricky compared with the shorter news items) One or two pictures seemed disjointed from the articles so it wasn't easy to work out what they related to. Other than that it seems so much less messy than it did before. I could never work out where to read next, and you needed to stop reading the main article to pick up the side bits. It seems to flow better now. |

And Roebucks column is perhaps a little short......will the double page ones return after GP's next year?

I agree, it's deffiently better, I'm like that there seems to be a bias back towards text rather than images now... makes for a better read.
Good job. |
