It's no wonder so many try to get to Nascar. Earnhardt and Gordon are overpaid, they haven't even won a race this year.
But Danica? Jebus. |

Forbes usually make the Sunday Times Rich List look accurate...
But yeah, none of them are exactly paupers. I'd be surprised if Alonso and Hamilton's salaries/winnings are quite so much more than anyone else's. And I'd be astonished if Button hasn't got at least a couple of million dollars worth of endorsements. |

Where's Kimi? He must've taken a significant pay drop to drive for Lotus. Still, he's a clever guy getting paid well and not doing much PR. For those salaries, I'd like to see them all do more PR.

Am not so sure Kimi is "clever" he strikes me as being a little dumb personally, but he would clearly have less pay these days.
these salaries pale compared to NBA, NFL and footballers though and maybe golfers and top tennis players Wasn't long back that the best F1 guys were all right up there with salaries, but with the huge deals now offered baseball, NBA and NFL retainers, they are way below. |

It does highlight what a fantastic commercial success NASCAR is - and how far behind our touring car series are. I don't think Jason Plato will be in this list anytime soon.

If we had a pound for every time Plato barged someone off the track in that glorified bumper car series, we'd all be millionaires by now.

I think the hate is mainly from people who can't read, so they probably feel threatened by her.
