JEB, is there also a S2000 race at the WHT? If so, how will it fit in the timetable if somebody wants to do that and the FF1600s?

John -
Sports 2000 cars are eligible to run in the Allcomers Races - again carrying the '8 Clubs' name. If anyone wishes to race in other events at the WHT - just flag them up to me in advance, and I will do all I can to make sure the timetable is spaced. Just ask - I am here to help ! |

I remember inventing Pre83 FF2000 - and getting a trial race put on at Oulton in 1986. It seemed the logical 'Pre' year to make it.
IIRC we had a grid of 26 and the National Championship on the same programme had 23 runners - both numbers approximate due to the passing of the years dulling the memory. BARC then decided to run a championship the following year as Pre80. It took a few years to evolve to what it should have been in the first place. Another case of Diz Anyway, good class and good move James. |

Thanks Diz.
If I have enough interest from FF2000 competitors this year, which I think I will, my plan is to run an 'open' FF2000 event at the WHT in 2006. All ages in two races and a final. |
