It’s going to be fairly cool, 12C predicted, no rain forecast (yet).

My bet would be on an Astra pole with something Honda flavoured close behind.

Would be utterly amazing if Goff dragged the #HARD Passat to pole and victory... probably be some silly big numbered odds on that!

I seriously doubt it unless half the grid retire! Goff’s Car was finished at 3am on Media day, so only really got to shake the car down. Lack of seat time & Team Hards reliability record are stacking any odds of a result against poor Jack.

Sadly I imagine this season is going to be tough for Goff and don't expect him to be nowhere near his last year's results. On the other hand, no longer than just a few weeks ago he was (and we all were) certain he won't be on the grid so still there are reasons to be positive.

I'd fancy Goff for a couple of points finishes this weekend, Bushell picked up a couple of top 10's at Brands Indy last year. Don't fancy him to qualify well but he'll make up a few places each race.

Thank you for whoever started this thread.

I wonder how Matt Neal and Jason Plato will get on bearing in mind Plato is in a Vauxhall

How Plato will fare this year is a mystery to me. Is changing team and car to FWD enough for him to return to sharp end of the field? We've seen Astra is competitive but I kind of doubt he still has it to fight for the championship.

Yep, Hill’s local track and Brands Indy was one track that the Audi’s looked anything but awful last year, gone with Jake Hill for race 3 in Pimmy’s game. Will be quite happy with single points against that!

Looking forward to this season.

There's nothing like the fresh smell of new manufacturer backed cars.
